COMMON QUESTIONS PEOPLE HAVE
People have honest questions, however, some use questions to hide behind, as an excuse not to believe God's word. I have heard some say, “the truth is no one knows for sure”. And in truth there are somethings we do not know, but we have all the answers for what God wants us to have. And when one asks, he should ask his pastor, Bible scholar, or theologian who believes the Bible, and there is a large chasm between a liberal and a conservative Bible scholar.
The location of the Garden of Eden. God did not want man back in the Garden of Eden, so he purposely hid the location.
Two creation accounts? Genesis 1 gives the six days of creation. Genesis 2: gives more detail of the most important day, day 6, when man was created. Some make the argument that God has two different names in chapter I & 2, as if there were two gods. But Elohim means God, a title, and YHWH is where we get his name Jehovah from.
Who were the “sons of God,” of Genesis 6? This union with the daughters of man produced "giants" and "men of renown" (the "gods" of mythology). So, it could not have been a normal ‘boy meets girl’ but the fallen angles of the devil.
When will the Ark of the Covenant be found? When God wants it found.
The so-called "lost years" of Jesus, from the ages 12 to 30. Luke 2:52 was from when Jesus was 12 years old and after and say, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." He simple grew to an adult and when he was 30, began His public ministry. If all that Christ, or the apostles, or the prophets of God did, then the Bible would be so big you could not carry it, but we have all that God that wants us to have.
How did humanity multiply after Adam and Eve? Genese 3:20 said, "And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living." Therefore, Cain marred his sister, and she was probably fully grown before he saw her for the Bible says Cain left immediately after killing his brother Abel. Laws against incest were not give till Moses, and the human race, genetically, would have been stronger at the begging.
What happened to the lost tribes of Israel? When Peter addressed the Jews, he said, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly” (Acts 2:36 and many other places); he calls these Jews Israel. Parts of all the tribes of Israel did remain in captivity. James 1:1, written to “the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,” they obviously had not been lost but remained a distinct people group as they do today. It is recorded in the Bible that tribes other than Judah or Benjamin returned to the Promised Land. Including the tribe of Asher (Luke 2:36), the tribe of Levi (Ezra 1:5), the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh (1 Chronicles 9:1–3). In the days of King Josiah (many years after the northern tribes had been taken captive) we find them in Israel again (II Chronicles 34:6–9), the tribes of “Simeon, even unto Naphtali,” also the tribes of “Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel,” also “Zebulun” (2 Chronicles 30:5–6, 10–11). “And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first” (Jeremiah 33:7.
Where is Noah’s Ark? It will be found if and when God wants it found. And the flood was global in scale, ancient civilizations in China, Russia, India, America, Scandinavia, Peru, plus 500 more, have flood legends worldwide. See Creation Sites,
